| About Skycafé
Skycafé began in 2008 with the grand opening of SkySong, Arizona State University’s (ASU) Innovation Center. Moe Abdalla, owner, conceived a café at SkySong where customers could enjoy authentic African cuisine or quickly grab a coffee and Danish.
Originally from Kenya, Moe combined his love of international flavors and innovative entrepreneurship to bring Skycafé to fruition. Currently an undergraduate student at ASU, Moe’s goal is to become a doctor and help advance health care in Africa. With that goal in mind, Moe founded Business for Doctors. A portion of Skycafé’s proceeds are donated to this entrepreneurial venture.
Mission Statement
"Skycafé is dedicated to providing healthy, organic and eco-friendly options for SkySong tenants and visitors. Skycafé’s commitment to delivering creative and elegant catering solutions is displayed by their flexibility in service and willingness to improve. Through its global donations and internship opportunities, Skycafé strives to be part of ASU’s imperative to become a force for societal transformation. Skycafé will build a cultural bridge that is anchored through their love of exotic food and their passion in quality service."
